Isoenzymes of LDH have immense value in diagnosis of heart and liver disorders. LDH2 increases in myocardial infraction and LDH5 increases in liver diseases. Other examples of isoenzymes are creatine phosphokinase (CPK) refer table 6.11, which is dimer M and B (muscle and brain)
