1/V = Km/Vmax/1 + I/KI[S] + [S]/Vmax/1 + I/KI [S]
1/V = Km(1 + I/KI)/Vmax · 1/[S] + 1 + I/KI/Vmax
- Non-competitive inhibitor yields a family of lines having a common intercept on [S] axis indirectly that Km for the substrate is not altered by a non-competitive inhibitor but Vmax decreases.
- As Km is unchanged, the addition of high concentration of [S] does not relieve the inhibition.
